After you have created a new account; you can:

1. post content (Classifieds, Fourums, Contractor Projects ,and company profile)

2. You can set your geographic location information (go to "My account") if you desire. This information is used to help you see content relative to this geographic location (your job site location).

3. Your company location and information can also be presented in your public profile page (go to "profile") to set up a profile page if you desire.

All content in excavating.com is indexed to a real geographic location for covinenience.

Username will be used for your public profile page/url: www.excavating.com/Username

Spaces are allowed; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.
A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.
Provide a password for the new account in both fields.
Location
e.g. a place of business, venue, meeting point

If you wish to supply your own latitude and longitude, you may enter them above. If you leave these fields blank, the system will attempt to determine a latitude and longitude for you from the entered address. To have the system recalculate your location from the address, for example if you change the address, delete the values for these fields.
You may set the location by clicking on the map, or dragging the location marker. To clear the location and cause it to be recalculated, click on the marker.
Your Company Information
This is the URL to your company or personal web site (example: www.yoururl.com or www.excavating.com/username). This field will be shown to people looking at your content (your profile,ads,stories,etc.).
